Our Story

We believe light deserves to be treated like sculpture.

SaFaLight exists to give a small circle of master designers the time, materials, and patience their work deserves — and to bring the result into homes that will keep it for generations.

The Atelier

Our Resident Designers

Geneva, Switzerland

Étienne Voss

A former sculptor trained in Carrara, Étienne Voss brings stone-carving precision to light. His pieces are quarried, not manufactured.

Vienna, Austria

Nadia Kessler

Nadia Kessler studied under master glassblowers in Murano before founding her own atelier, known for gradient crystal work.

Copenhagen, Denmark

Otto Reyne

Otto Reyne's minimalist brass forms have been exhibited at the Milan Design Triennale. He designs light the way others design silence.

Milan, Italy / Kyoto, Japan

Marchetti & Lin

A cross-continental studio blending Italian maximalism with Japanese restraint, producing lamps that read as functional sculpture.

What We Stand For

Values We Don’t Compromise On

Made by Hand

No injection molds, no assembly lines. Every base is turned, cast, or blown by a named craftsperson.

Rare Materials

Calacatta marble, Persian alabaster, mouth-blown crystal — sourced in small batches, never substituted.

Made to Last

Every lamp is designed to be repaired, rewired, and passed down — not replaced.

Individually Numbered

Each piece carries a signed edition number and a certificate of authenticity from its designer.
